eMail Bug WordPress – Patch
September 12, 2009 | Posted by Wolf |
WordPress sends emails as plain/text, but subject and message characters are converted to HTML entities. We are talking about all applicable characters, of course.
So, if in the email subject or message would be present JennCria’s Blog words, for example, client output will be JennCria's Blog. This is an email bug!
To fix this email bug you can find a patch on WordPress Trac or, if you wish, you can download our WordPress 2.8.4 function wp-mail Patch.
Now you can download, free of charge! WordPres 2.8.4 wp_mail Patch, downloaded 11 times.
